Esto est\u00e1 abriendo un amplio abanico de nuevas aplicaciones, desde la fabricaci\u00f3n de nuevos detectores con capacidad de observar objetos con precisiones por debajo de la longitud de onda de la luz hasta nuevos dispositivos de comunicaciones de gran ancho de banda y pasando por nuevos dispositivos de almacenamiento de elevada capacidad. Una de las caracter\u00edsticas esenciales de las nanoantenas es la naturaleza plasm\u00f3nica del comportamiento electromagn\u00e9tico de los metales. En el proyecto se pretende conseguir nuevos resultados y nuevas estructuras para mejorar las caracter\u00edsticas de las nanoantenas.<\/li>\n<li>Los objetivos concretos planteados son:\n<ul>\n<li>Dise\u00f1o de nanoantenas formadas por nanotubos de oro y optimizadas para incrementar sus prestaciones.<\/li>\n<li>An\u00e1lisis de los efectos de las imperfecciones en las nanoantenas.<\/li>\n<li>Estudio del comportamiento electromagn\u00e9tico de nanomateriales.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"field field-name-field-proy-metodologia field-type-text-long field-label-above\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div class=\"field-label\"><strong>Metodolog\u00eda:\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n<div class=\"field-items\">\n<div class=\"field-item even\">\n<p>Para el desarrollo de este proyecto se utilizar\u00e1n herramientas ya testadas con \u00e9xito en\u00a0<a href=\"\/en\/lusitania\/\">LUSITANIA<\/a>. El\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/\/en\/tsc.unex.es\/~llandesa\/index.html\/\">Grupo de Electromagnetismo Computacional<\/a>\u00a0of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.unex.es\/\">Universidad de Extremadura<\/a>\u00a0ha desarrollado multitud de herramientas de an\u00e1lisis electromagn\u00e9tico para supercomputadores que se han comportado con \u00e9xito y han conseguido diversos logros reconocidos mundialmente.<\/p>\n<p>Para adaptarse al estudio de nuevos materiales en nanotecnolog\u00eda el Grupo ha adaptado estas herramientas para incorporar numerosos de los comportamientos extraordinarios de los nuevos nanomateriales, entre los que est\u00e1 el comportamiento plasm\u00f3nico de los metales a frecuencias \u00f3pticas.
