La idea es analizar el papel que juega la estratosfera en el estudio del cambio clim\u00e1tico.<\/li>\n<li>Estudios similares a los que se llevan a cabo en el\u00a0<a href=\"\/en\/lusitania\/\">supercomputador Lusitania<\/a> del <a href=\"\/en\/descripcion-centro\/\"><strong>Extremadura Supercomputing Center<\/strong><\/a> se\u00a0est\u00e1n realizando en el\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bsc.es\/plantillaA.php?cat_id=5\">supercomputador MareNostrum<\/a>\u00a0del\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bsc.es\/\">BSC<\/a>\u00a0(<strong>Centro de Supercomputaci\u00f3n de Barcelona<\/strong>) y en el\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cesga.es\/es\/infraestructuras\/computacion\/finisterrae\">supercomputador FINIS TERRAE<\/a>\u00a0del\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cesga.es\/\">CESGA<\/a>\u00a0(<strong>Centro de Supercomputaci\u00f3n de Galicia<\/strong>). Por ello, otro objetivo fundamental es la coordinaci\u00f3n entre los grupos de investigaci\u00f3n que llevan a cabo estos experimentos.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"field field-name-field-proy-objetivos-alcanzados field-type-text-long field-label-above\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div class=\"field-label\"><strong>Objetivos alcanzados:\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n<div class=\"field-items\">\n<div class=\"field-item even\">\n<ul>\n<li>Se han realizado dos simulaciones del clima, una con el modelo WACCM (Whole Atmosphere Community Climate Model) y la otra con el modelo CESM (Community earth system model). La primera se ha realizado para complementar una realizada el a\u00f1o anterior pero con un forzamiento externo de 8.5 W\/m^2 en 2100. La segunda se ha realizado para poder realizar una simulaci\u00f3n del siglo XXI en Espa\u00f1a mediante el uso de un modelo global y un modelo regional.<\/li>\n<li>Se est\u00e1 trabajando tambi\u00e9n en la simulaci\u00f3n mediante un modelo regional. Esta segunda integraci\u00f3n se espera que ser\u00e1 \u00fatil entre otros proyectos, al proyecto RITECA, en el que se encuentra involucrado el propio C\u00e9nitS.<\/li>\n<li>Se puso a punto y se realiz\u00f3 una simulaci\u00f3n del clima del siglo XX (1953-2006) mediante el modelo WACCM versi\u00f3n 3.5.48. As\u00ed mismo, se realiz\u00f3 una integraci\u00f3n de un periodo similar (1955-2005) mediante el modelo CESM (Climate Earth System Model).<\/li>\n<li>La idea de este proyecto es analizar la posibilidad de la realizaci\u00f3n de simulaciones clim\u00e1ticas mediante el supercomputador LUSITANIA. Los modelos anteriores son modelos desarrollados en el NCAR (National Center for Atmospheric Research, Boulder, Colorado, USA) y est\u00e1n especialmente adaptados para uso en sus ordenadores.<\/li>\n<li>Resulta del m\u00e1ximo inter\u00e9s conocer si estos programas, convenientemente compilados, se pueden ejecutar en otro tipo de m\u00e1quinas y si los resultados obtenidos en \u00e9stas son comparables a los obtenidos en el NCAR.<\/li>\n<li>Un an\u00e1lisis de los datos obtenidos indica que, efectivamente, los resultados son comparables a los obtenidos en los ordenadores del NCAR.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"field field-name-field-proy-publicaciones field-type-text-long field-label-above\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div class=\"field-label\"><strong>Publicaciones y congresos:\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n<div class=\"field-items\">\n<div class=\"field-item even\">\n<ul>\n<li>A.
