International Conference on Electromagnetics in Advanced Applications (ICEAA 2012), Cape Town, South Africa, September 2-7, 2012.\u00a0<strong>Ponencia invitada<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Abstract<\/strong><br \/>\nThe surface integral equation (SIE) and the method of moments (MoM) are combined with a genetic algorithm (GA) for the design of multilayer invisibility shells. Thickness and material composition of the layers are simultaneously optimized to minimize the scattering cross section (SCS).
