Jos\u00e9 Agust\u00edn Garc\u00eda Garc\u00eda y dedicado a la investigaci\u00f3n en el campo de las Geociencias, trabaja desde hace varios a\u00f1os en modelos de simulaci\u00f3n clim\u00e1tica que permitan predecir con exactitud el cambio clim\u00e1tico en la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed, desde 2009, a\u00f1o en se constituy\u00f3 la\u00a0<a class=\"views-ajax-processed-processed\" href=\"\/descripcion-la-fundacion\">Fundaci\u00f3n COMPUTAEX<\/a>, varios de sus proyectos, entre los que destacan el de \u00abSimulaci\u00f3n del clima mediante el modelo WACCM (Whole Atmosphere Community Climate Model)\u00bb y el \u00abEstudio de olas de calor en Extremadura: clima actual y futuro\u00bb, han requerido la utilizaci\u00f3n de la infraestructura de supercomputaci\u00f3n de\u00a0<a class=\"views-ajax-processed-processed\" href=\"\/cenits\">C\u00e9nitS<\/a>, debido a la elevada capacidad de c\u00f3mputo y el almacenamiento masivo necesarios para realizar dichas simulaciones clim\u00e1ticas.
