Con la ayuda de c\u00e1lculos\u00a0mecanocu\u00e1nticos realizados en el\u00a0<a class=\"views-ajax-processed-processed\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cenits.es\/cenits\/lusitania\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">supercomputador LUSITANIA<\/a>, se ha dise\u00f1ado una nueva\u00a0reacci\u00f3n t\u00e1ndem multicomponente que permite obtener los compuestos deseados en un solo\u00a0paso de s\u00edntesis. Otra gran ventaja de esta metodolog\u00eda es que da acceso, con muy buenos\u00a0rendimientos y en condiciones muy suaves, a una variedad de dihidroxantonas con una gran\u00a0diversidad estructural, una caracter\u00edstica de gran importancia para el descubrimiento de nuevos\u00a0f\u00e1rmacos.<\/p>\n<p>En una importante aplicaci\u00f3n, se ha sintetizado un an\u00e1logo del \u00e1cido secal\u00f3nico en tan s\u00f3lo\u00a0cuatro pasos de reacci\u00f3n a partir de bisfenol, un producto comercial com\u00fan.
