La extensa deslocalizaci\u00f3n de sus dobles enlaces hace que sean f\u00e1cilmente polarizables y que se puedan utilizar como compuestos modelo de dispositivos electr\u00f3nicos moleculares. Del mismo modo, presentan una gran estabilidad debido a la formaci\u00f3n del enlace de hidr\u00f3geno intramolecular, que es el responsable de muchas propiedades qu\u00edmicas, f\u00edsicas y biol\u00f3gicas de sistemas qu\u00edmicos, pudiendo desempe\u00f1ar un papel importante en el desarrollo de nuevos materiales.<\/p>\n<p>Este estudio ha sido presentado recientemente como Trabajo de Grado en la Universidad de Extremadura y en el\u00a0<a class=\"views-ajax-processed-processed\" href=\"http:\/\/\/en\/nevada.ual.es\/SMSOC-4\/index-espa%C3%B1ol.html\/\">4th Spanish-Moroccan Symposium on Organic Chemistry<\/a>\u00a0(SMSOC-4), celebrado en Almer\u00eda en Septiembre de 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s se ha realizado el estudio de estas estructuras derivadas de D-glucamina debido a la importancia que poseen los carbohidratos.
