The Extremadura Supercomputing Center aims to promote, disseminate, and provide intensive computing and advanced communications services to research communities in Extremadura, or to those companies or institutions that request them, thereby contributing to improving the competitiveness of researchers and companies through technological advancement and innovation.
The Center has supercomputers LUSITANIA, LUSITANIA II and LUSITANIA III, located at its Data Processing Center in Cáceres. All three are powerful tools for developing projects in a wide range of diverse and heterogeneous fields. In addition, the Center offers infrastructure, resources, and technical support to undertake projects (scientific, technical, or business) where its services are required.
